Steyning Town men’s 1st team awards night took place at Singing Hills last night. Thankyou to Singing Hills who provided great food & hospitality and helped the club celebrate a double winning season.
All brilliant MC’d by Piers Carter
The winners were:-
- PLAYERS PLAYER – Finn Daniels-Yeomans
- SUPPORTERS PLAYER – Finn Daniels-Yeomans
- MANAGERS PLAYER – Marcus Allen
- GOLDEN BOOT – Stan Bridgman. 40 goals
- GOAL OF THE SEASON – a Harry Heath banger v Hendon FC
A special mention to Finn for his two awards and as Hammy said “he covered every blade of grass in Sussex over the season”What a campaign he has had. And also to Marcus, a Rolls Royce centre back, who formed half of a formidable centre back pairing with Tad (still sporting a nice shiner last night).
A huge thankyou for a final time this season to all the players, the managers & coaches , supporters, committee and volunteers.
What a club. What a double. What a time in our history. What celebrations. Enjoy those moments.
