Please Read – Child Trust Fund

Aged 13 – 21? You most likely have a government Child Trust Fund – and it could be worth £1,000.

Any child born in the UK between 1st Sept 2002 and 2nd Jan 2011 had a Child Trust Fund account set up with a bank as part of a government scheme. The Government added money to all accounts – and parents / family may have contributed more. If you are 16-20 find and take control of your Child Trust Fund – using a service provided free by a charity – see https://findCTF.sharefound.org – which also runs accounts for children in care. All you need is your National Insurance number (sent to everyone when they are 16) and the form at the link above. This may seem to be good to be true – and we should all scam aware – so to get details more details of the charity you can look at https://www.sharefound.org/ctf and to see the official Government information you can look at: https://www.gov.uk/child-trust-funds. You can also contact William Price who volunteers for the charity and it the dad of one of the U15 Steyning Girls Team.
