The Peter Humphreys Memorial Ground

Steyning Town FC are excited to announce a new ongoing Ground Sponsor Partnership with Kate & James Marshall and PHX Gym.

Kate & James are both long term supporters of the football club with Kate being a valuable member of the Club Committee & one of the Welfare Officers, whilst also having both their boys playing in our youth teams. PHX Gym has also previously sponsored the 1st Team Playing Kits.

Named after Kate’s late father, “The Peter Humphreys Memorial Ground” will have a strong identity within the local community where Peter lived and supported the club.

Kate added : “It means a lot to see my dad’s name on the wall at the football club, if he was still with us he would get huge joy watching his grandsons playing football at Steyning.
He was a big part of Steyning with his shop and loved bringing a smile to peoples faces. Kid lives on.”

Chairman Paul Hart added : “Once again, we are very grateful to James & Kate and all at PHX Gym for their continued support of the Football Club, and what we are trying to achieve here both short & long term. James & PHX Gym were our main 1st team Sponsors last season, and now move on to being our Main Ground Sponsor.  A fantastic & emotional gesture by them to choose the name of the ground after Kate’s late Father, Peter Humphreys.
