Horsham & District Youth Football League (HDYFL) are supporting the National Silent Weekend this Saturday. The only coaching allowed will be from the coach. This responds to feedback from the first weekend:
“There were different opinions from players, coaches and parents. The young players told us that they found it less confusing and less pressured. It allowed them to talk more as a team, with more chances to make decisions and overall it was more enjoyable. However, they missed the support of their coach.”
To add to this research HDYFL want to trial the weekend again however the coach will be able to coach through the match. This includes parents.
