‘PAY WHAT YOU WANT DAY’
On Saturday, we will not be charging for people to come into the ground for our final home game of the season against Peacehaven & Telescombe FC. Instead, it will be ‘pay what you want’ on the gate which will be split 50:50 between the club and Worthing Hospital.
Why Worthing Hospital? Well we have chosen Worthing Hospital because our wonderful clubhouse manager Michelle was unfortunately diagnosed with Lymphoma back in November 2025. The hospital provided a fantastic, dedicated service to her which has resulted in her getting the all clear from cancer in recent weeks much to the relief of everybody involved at the club.
That said you would never have known she was ill during that time, as she continued to be a very present member of the clubhouse team, as well as supporting from the sidelines at home and away games for both the men & the women’s first teams, as well as both her children’s home and away games in the youth section.
Michelle said “I can’t speak highly enough of Worthing Hospital, the speed at which I was Diagnosed and Treated was so reassuring. The care I was given throughout and the aftercare I am still getting from everyone involved has been amazing. I couldn’t thank them enough“
As a club we are so grateful to Worthing Hospital for helping Michelle get to this stage of her recovery so we are delighted to be able to make a donation to support them at the end of this season.
